Odoo 17 is almost there!
The time has come. As every year, the Odoo Experience takes place to introduce the new Odoo version to the participants. This year it is scheduled from 8th to 10th of november. What kind of news awaits us? I would like to offer you a little foretaste.
New user interface
Odoo 17 comes with a new design to improve the user experience and visuals. New symbols in a new color environment are intended to make working with Odoo even more attractive.
Admittedly. At first it takes some getting used to... But here too, Odoo's intuitive operation comes into play. After a little getting used to the new symbols, everything runs smoothly as you would expect from Odoo. In addition, the possibility of personalized app sorting via drag & drop leads to further increasing efficiency.
As in Odoo 16, there is still the option to use dark mode.
New search view
Odoo 17 presents itself with a revised search view and leads to an even more intuitive and efficient search.
Direct access to the knowledge app and Odoo Sheets
The use of the knowledge database and spreadsheets has been optimized to ensure even more direct access.

Improved quality features in the MRP module
Users in production can trigger quality alarms or submit a suggestion
for improving work steps directly from the production order. There
should also be the possibility of being able to generate engineering
chage orders/requests (ECO's) from production.

The features presented in this article have only been touched on in scope and offer much more. In addition to those mentioned, various other new features have been implemented. Always with the aim of optimizing work even further and providing users with a system that makes working fun.
